Peggy Bennett
Figurative Artist

Ironic, perhaps, that Peggy Bennett’s career as a fashion art director now includes sketching models sans clothes. Yet capturing the nuances of the human form remains the secret to compelling imagery in both fields.

As a teenager, Peggy’s first formal art training was a pastel portrait class with Daniel Greene, one of the nation’s most admired pastel artists of the time. In her words, “I’ve dreamed of returning to drawing ever since.” After graduating from New York’s Parsons School of Design and leading a notable Dallas design agency, Peggy’s figurative sketches are a beautiful return to that passion. Her ability to render the body as fluid forms, in tandem with her intuitive sense of shadow and light are joyous reflections of humanity.
